About Bopperty

Where your property journey starts.

Most property sites are built for the transaction. Bopperty is built for the person making the move — the place to start before you’re deep in listings.

Why Bopperty exists

We put the mover first.

For years, beginning a move in Ireland has meant one thing: scrolling listings on platforms built simply to advertise a property, not to help the person trying to make the move.

We thought it should work the other way around — built around the mover, not the advert. So that’s what we made.

Start where a move really starts: what can I afford, and am I ready? Set a budget and see the areas that fall within it. Run a readiness check and get a checklist for your situation instead of generic advice. From there, see what homes actually sold for and which way prices are moving — the register exactly as filed, and Bopperty Adjusted — then read the whole public picture of an area you’re considering: census data, schools and childcare, transport and amenities. Every figure traces to a public source you can check: no black-box scores, no guesswork, just a more informed mover in motion, ready for the decision in front of you.

And when you’re ready to act on it: through Head Start we’re signing up agents across the country to publish on Bopperty before a property reaches the wider market — and if you’re the one selling, we make one introduction to a licensed estate agent active in your area.

The reports are not valuations and the guides are not professional advice, and anything we get wrong can be put right on our corrections page.

One place, both sides

One place with two sides that work together.

People come to Bopperty to get ready for a move. Agents come to reach them. Head Start is where the two meet.

Buying, renting and selling hubs, each with a readiness check that turns your situation into a checklist, not generic advice. Whatever stage you're at, the next step is the one it gives you.

03 · See what soldBopperty Adjusted

Sold prices and trends

What homes actually sold for across the Republic of Ireland, published two ways: the register exactly as filed, and Bopperty Adjusted — five fixed rules that set aside the filings which distort an average. Nothing is deleted; every sale keeps its registered price.

04 · Understand an areaFree reports

Area reports

Pick anywhere in the Republic of Ireland for a readable report: amenities, transport, schools and childcare, demographics, market context, and what’s actually selling. Built from public and licensed data, credited to its sources, and corrected in the open when we get something wrong.

05 · See soonerFree to watch

Head Start listings

Properties published on Bopperty by estate agents ahead of their wider marketing. The claim is simple and honest: you see them sooner here. No exclusivity games, and we never gate a property.

Local agent introductions

Thinking of selling? We make one introduction to a licensed estate agent active in your area. Your details go to one agent, and no one else.

Find an Agent
The same for everyone

What Bopperty publishes about an area is the same whoever is reading, and whoever is selling.

No home is scored, no area is ranked. Nobody can pay to change what we publish, or where it appears. That’s the whole point of starting somewhere independent.

  1. 01

    We're independent

Not owned by, affiliated with, or steered by any estate agent, lender, government body or data provider.

  2. 02

    We're not an estate agency

We don’t sell, value, or broker anything. Estate agents do that work; the listings are theirs, with their name and licence on each one. We publish and inform.

  3. 03

    We don't replace your advisers

Surveyors, solicitors, lenders and advisers exist for good reasons. Treat Bopperty as your starting point, do your own research, and get qualified advice before you commit.

  4. 04

No area is right or wrong

We never present a place as right or wrong for any person or household. Further details in our Equality Statement.

  5. 05

    Correctable

No dataset is perfect, that’s why we have a dedicated /corrections page.

How is this free?

Bopperty is free for the people using it to move. We’re not funded by charging you, and we don’t sell your details. The plan is to be supported by the industry — the professionals and businesses who want to reach people who are moving — on terms that never change what we publish.

What’s next

We haven’t stopped building.

We’re only getting started. Right now we’re signing up estate agents across the country to start Head Start, and building a better way to view property, one designed around the person making the move.

Across Ireland

Signing up agents nationwide to bring Head Start to more of the country.
